The Cloud Disaster Recovery services is a unique union of backup and Cloud Computing which allows your business to have its computing services cost effectively restored to the InfoStewards cloud to continue operation in the event that a disaster strikes.
An InfoStewards consultant will sit down with major stakeholders in your business to gather information which will drive the creation of a document which identifies:
- Critical Systems - what systems directly support, and therefore need to be recovered first, the revenue generating activities of the business. Systems which are needed for ancillary activities will be recovered, but those recoveries will happen after the critical systems are recovered.
- Recovery Time - how long it will take to restore the systems, no matter how critical it may or may not be.
- Data loss - frequent backups reduce the amount of data that may be lost on a system, but the cost increases when the backup frequency increases. For some systems, daily backups may be sufficent, for other systems, per-transaction backups may be needed.
Once the system recovery needs of the business have been identified, InfoStewards will suggest a plan to backup and recover the business' systems within the parameters set by the business.
